An Honest Woman – The team springs into action after Voight is abducted, and Ruzek and Atwater track down a lead that may lead to a break in the case. Meanwhile, Burgess and Roman look for a girl who stole a police badge.
Chicken, Dynamite, Chainsaw – The team investigates the disappearance of two teenage girls. Meanwhile, Roman and Burgess are put on gun-buyback duty.
The Weigh Station – A hit man tries to take out Halstead but accidentally kills a bartender instead. Meanwhile, Olinksy asks Bembenek to cancel the hit; Voight and his team go after the hired assassin; and Platt and Nadia come to an understanding.
Get My Cigarettes – A friend of Voight’s is murdered by an apparent serial killer, and Ruzek, Antonio and Halstead help with the case. Elsewhere, Burgess and Roman investigate a string of break-ins.
Call It Macaroni – As the Sheldon Jin murder investigation moves forward, Voight is under close watch by Internal Affairs but he’s still in complete command of the intelligence unit. A routine undercover job becomes anything but when Voight’s SUV is T-boned while trailing an armored car carrying Ruzek. At District, Burgess meets her new partner, Sean Roman and tension is high from the start. Soon she realizes there’s more to his story. After a long day, Lindsay pays a visit to someone she hasn’t seen in a very long time – her mom, Bunny.
A Beautiful Friendship – In the Season 1 finale, Atwater gets used to his new job while Antonio is stuck with desk duty during his recovery. Meanwhile, Lindsay asks Voight for help; and Jin is forced to come clean about his secret meetings with Stillwell.
The Docks – Voight and Platt share information about their pasts; Jin is caught poking around on Voight’s computer and shifts blame to a convenient scapegoat; Lindsay realizes that she needs to be honest with Charlie; and Halstead gets the answers he’s been seeking.
8:30 PM – The Intelligence Unit works furiously to find the people responsible for an explosion at Chicago Medical. Voight and his team use their own angles and connections; Lindsay and Antonio interrogate doctors who operated on an ambassador from Syria; and Olinsky finds a lead. Meanwhile, the team realizes that additional bombs may still be active; and Burgess waits to learn about her niece’s fate.
Turn the Light Off – Voight and the team investigate a gang-related case involving several deaths and millions of dollars in stolen cash. Meanwhile, Burgess helps the unit in an effort to prove her worth; and Platt asks Ruzek for assistance.
