Uploaded.net Drama

Back in April of this year , one of the popular file sharing sites (Uploaded.net) without any warning started handing out mass suspensions to their most frequent
and loyal uploaders which has led to a lot of users who pay for the service stuck without a fast way to download.

Uploaded.net seems to be getting pressure from copyright trolls to get more aggressive towards frequent/ popular uploaders and this is the outcome thus far. Editors have created multiple accounts and within weeks they get suspended so it is unreliable to have a host like that for both the editors and users.

For more information on this subject you can read about it on torrentfreak.com … https://torrentfreak.com/uploaded-net-terminates-accounts-of-persistent-pirates-170412/

We want to hear from you, our amazing community of valley users. We are looking for a reliable replacement for uploaded, Please feel free to suggest a similar file host which is somewhat comparable to uploaded in the comments section below!

Hi, thank you all for the great job you are doing every day 🙂

Just use Clicknupload or Mega, for me the best file sharing sites with fast speeds.

  2. asdfTheThird Jun 14th, 2017 at 2:41 pm

wtf has WannaCry have to do with anything lmao

And uploaded is cancer anyway. Can’t wait for it to die.

  3. asdfTheThird Jun 14th, 2017 at 2:42 pm

Openload is fast and free, what more could one want.

    Or just use mega.co.nz

  4. Hello, Jun 14th, 2017 at 2:42 pm

    Hello,

Only suggestion I can make is start using https. No excuse with letsencrypt providing free certs.

Also, please, whatever new host you choose, don’t let it be Mega. Mega requires their download manager or a plugin for large files. From a security perspective, Mega also leaves a lot to be desired.

  5. LX7 Jun 14th, 2017 at 3:09 pm

Uploaded, as bad as it might be, it has a fast network of delivery and many premium subscribers.
Links don’t have to stay up for aeons, just enough for people to get the links. 2dl has the same issue with adfly, they code most old links and all of them end up on banned adfly accounts, which then means none get downloaded and eventually expire.
Who comes late to the party has to satisfy himself with whatever is left available.

That said, the reason you complain is that you can’t monetize on ul anymore and not that it’s not a reliable host. What’s the problem in creating every week a new account? You can’t monetize on a lot of great hosts either, that why you dump them on multi upload hosters somewhere at the back of the thread for beggars to shut up. If the point of this was to share, then share, but if it is to make money exclusively, expect that any alternative you might pick will also go this route eventually. Ever since Rapidshare exploded the filelocker scene we had more than enough hosts pop up and go down than we like. A lot of people paid them to download and then they got screwed. The reason is monetization. You pick them because they give you money for n thousand downloads and in the process they become targets for anti piracy trolls and eventually go extinct. There’s no solution to the problem and changing the hosts only makes it harder for people to download.

MEGA is not an alternative either, recently they allow only 15GB / day downloads. That’s not bad, but it’s not good enough for a replacement either, especially in season packs.

  6. Cilu Jun 14th, 2017 at 3:09 pm

I have recently started using RapidRAR and that one works fine. Furthermore there are some other sites that have uploaders with that service so you would not be the only ones and us users would have some other sites where we can find different stuff.

  7. John Smith Jun 14th, 2017 at 3:20 pm

Mega would be my favorite too!

  8. Som Jun 14th, 2017 at 4:02 pm

Rats, i just renewed my uploaded account

  9. DiRTY Jun 14th, 2017 at 4:42 pm

it is sad to see a host go but there are many alternatives these days. it was not my favorite host but it was reliable.
i appreciate all of the hard work you guys do to upload links and keep the site running smooth. keep up the great work and have a great day

  10. matt Jun 14th, 2017 at 5:22 pm

I’ve been a regular guest for many years now, you’ve managed to stay afloat when many similar sites have gone down. The work you do is much appreciated. Please keep providing direct links to at least one free hosting – openload seems to be solid these days. Bringing back TV packs would be awesome, too. Best of luck and thank you.

  11. GAD Jun 14th, 2017 at 6:16 pm

First of all I would like to say thanks to the great work you do and that this is the best site on the web!
Second I have to agree a 100% to what LX7 said. If you go for the money the future chosen filehoster will go the same way as once rapidshare and now uploaded. I would like it if you stick to ul.to because this is the most reliable hoster on the market and most of the day to day visitors are having accounts there. Maybe you could put up a poll for a month or so and see what the majority wants.

Thanks a lot for all the great quality uploads and keep up the excellent work!

  12. Michelle K. Jun 14th, 2017 at 6:28 pm

I don’t get why some guys are pushing hard for MEGA. From my point of view the security and privacy of this service are utterly compromised,

  13. Michael Jun 14th, 2017 at 7:33 pm

I’m actually happy that this site is still alive. Most of the sites I used to use R dead now and DDLValley is still alive. I’m starting to wonder how long will this site last I’ve seen sites come and go. This is the last site I depend on. Anyways about the host thing I think u shouldn’t use Mega. Just find the top hosts and we can VOTE like we always do

  14. Joey Jun 14th, 2017 at 11:56 pm

I will not miss uploaded at all. I’d like to see you add MEGA. With Mega you can LARGE files(1GB)as long as you use Chrome Browser (not in incognito mode)

  15. misterymachine Jun 15th, 2017 at 2:07 am

some solution recommended for premiumize users…

  16. sam Jun 15th, 2017 at 2:39 am

The only Cheap and reliable solution is this multihoster fro the downloader client the server is real-debrid. !!! sorry i have no alternative for the Uploader !!!

  17. truefan Jun 15th, 2017 at 4:06 am

actually MEGA has apparently been getting aggressive to uploaders too. i see zippyshare (split rars) or openload (which is used). shame no google drive lol. at the moment i dont know of many hosts. i love multi hosts but it’s to hope it mirrors all hosts unwise not too helpful lol.

  18. Ultraviolet Jun 15th, 2017 at 4:54 am

Thanks for keeping the site going.

Openload is the best by far, but don’t use convert mkv to mp4 function it makes files useless because of the downgraded quality. Split rars for over 1gb.

Zippyshare is really good even though it has 200mb limits, split rars for over.

    Clicknupload would be third choice.

Filecloud.io is pretty good too, not as good as it used to be but definately number 4 in the list.

  19. soj Jun 15th, 2017 at 5:38 am

Pick a hoster from real debrid that is reliable. They serve quite a few of them…just pick from that.

  20. cermer Jun 15th, 2017 at 6:25 am

as long as you use the zevera deal when you choose a new site I am ok with it. I am waiting for my uploaded account to expire to buy a zevera account 🙂

  21. oink Jun 15th, 2017 at 7:28 am

The uploaded problems are mostly on you if you use webpages with clear names, put content on it with clear names, and don’t use link/name obfuscation, don’t pack and don’t use a password. The content for sites which do that keep their content online far longer.

Come on guys. Do you expect this whole game going on forevermore by making it simple for them?

A few examples here. When RMZ switched to clear links with no obfuscation their content got killed a lot quicker. A site which kept a lot content up for *months* otherwise. 2DDL seems to keep their links online longer than you with a few tricks and then there’s serienj*nkies. This isn’t meant as any advertising whatsoever.

You had a few easy years since Rapid went down and now they attack Uploaded. Time to adapt too.

You can make it easy for you and switch completely to other sites, sites people don’t use(meaning less income) and if people move the same show happens again.

  22. Ali Jun 15th, 2017 at 8:43 am

Please start using x265 its time now

  23. Knight Rider Jun 15th, 2017 at 10:16 am

    clicknupload
    usercloud
    depositfiles
    rapidrar
    uploadrocket

There are a few that may work. I do not know which provide monetization as I never worried with that.

  24. Panos Jun 15th, 2017 at 10:33 am

    EaseyBytez
    Coolbytez

  25. Jammer Jun 15th, 2017 at 1:29 pm

What about the issue with your website, where sometimes you click a link and a random pages open up?

    • dammGirl Jun 16th, 2017 at 2:18 am

its the ads bro. a way to monitize.

  26. dammGirl Jun 15th, 2017 at 4:39 pm

    its MEGA babes.

  27. camoka Jun 15th, 2017 at 5:42 pm

    Rapidgator
    Turbobit
    Nitroflare

    • truefan Jun 16th, 2017 at 12:29 am

      worse hosts ever 🙂

  28. sam Jun 15th, 2017 at 9:52 pm

@Cermer never buy Zevera i know what i’m talking about the service sucks always slow downloads and many times a day the servers are down. check google opinions. for me a runaway never coming back of zevera, the option was real-debrid and honestly i’m truly happy

    • OnYx Jun 16th, 2017 at 2:31 pm

i use premiumize.me which includes VPN, usenet as well as torrents. I am very happy but thats probably because i got a awesome deal last x-mas 😀

    • cermer Jun 19th, 2017 at 8:26 am

      @sam thanks for the warning

  29. Michelle K. Jun 16th, 2017 at 7:30 am

    Thanks for your great service.

It really is time to switch to x.265 .

  30. Ron Jun 16th, 2017 at 9:58 am

    share-online

  31. Fred Mertz Jr. Jun 16th, 2017 at 10:51 am

Uploadtobox which is part of multi-upload offers free unlimited downloads at full speed during “happy our” in the middle of the night (Pacific Coast time) for one hour.

  32. L Jun 16th, 2017 at 3:42 pm

Going to second what another user said: your files and links will stay alive longer if you put that in .rar files and don’t give them obvious names. You’ll still get all the download revenue and the accounts and files will stay alive longer because no one can prove what is in the .rar file. This should have been implemented ages ago and it’s crazy that it hasn’t been put into effect yet.

Aside from that, you guys do great work so I hope you’ll consider making this change and trying to stick it out with uploaded to at least see if this obfuscation method works. If we have to choose, I’m in the Anti-Mega camp – Openload seems like a good alternative.

  33. Zippy Jun 16th, 2017 at 3:54 pm

    Zippy

Still happy with x264 as my devices only support software decoding of x265 (so unwatchable!)

  34. Mike Jun 16th, 2017 at 4:40 pm

Is x265 HEVC???????? Because if it is don’t bother uploading. It’s okay if it’s optional but it shouldn’t take OVER

    • LX7 Jun 18th, 2017 at 6:03 pm

Yes, x265 is HEVC, but most releases are s#it… compared the picture side by side of wick 2 from about 4 releases and most x264 had more detail with SPARKS raking way above any x265 release, but as any DDL site only delivers releases and not make/encode them, it’s pointless to talk codecs.

    • Patricia Jun 24th, 2017 at 1:17 pm

A decent x265 720p format would be perfekt for the longtime storage of huge shows…

  35. Chopper Jun 16th, 2017 at 6:14 pm

Start using up to box as a regular server.

  36. marp Jun 16th, 2017 at 9:56 pm

I don’t see good alternatives for UL – there’s rapidrar, clicknupload, keep2share but I’m not convinced about their premium offers and quality.
Like a suggested before and also in this thread:
    – RAR or 7-zip the files
    – use archive encryption including encrypting the file names
    – give the archive a generated name, e.g. some numbering or date scheme
    – [Optional] include some ranomized “trash files” to randomize archive size
    – [Optional] You might also use once-only passwords that you can protect behind a captcha service (e.g. a link protection service).
The (unfortunately fewer and fewer) sites that do this have their UL files remain available SIGNIFICANTLY longer. Basically, your current scheme (no archive at all) allows automated scanners to identify the files – the scheme above, if done right, required human effort (by UL or whomever) to identify the files – which makes all the difference…

    On another note:
Looking for, finding and then extensively using a new service with similar quality as UL will simply lead to the industry going after this new service same as they now go after UL.
At themoment, the other services are simply less of a target for the industry simply because they are not used as much – they go after the biggest and most relevant first and foremost.
-> Switch to another and make that big -> the idustry will simply switch their target to that one and soon aou’ll have the same problem with it as you now have with UL…

    • nmap Jun 17th, 2017 at 6:39 am

if you’re going to implement a captcha system, like recommended in above post, please don’t use the one provided by Google. There are better alternatives that actually respect their users’ privacy.

      • LX7 Jun 18th, 2017 at 6:07 pm

There are but not better… that’s the problem, the one used by 2DL is bypassed by JD2 99.99% of the times. That’s a bad captcha system and there are a ton worse out there. Thare’s one where the more you generate, the messier the words get. None comes close to recaptcha v2.

  37. iKal Jun 17th, 2017 at 1:17 am

Has anyone ever thought about making a ddlvalley group on Skype or any form of chat based provider which also allows file sharing? Just request a file and if anyone in the group has it then you can share it?. At least it would get rid of the worries about files being deleted from the host sites. I think it’s a good idea. Even for me as I have upto 300mb download speed and 20mb upload speed, it wouldn’t take time for me to share the requested file or files. I dunno if irc chat or whatever it’s called allows file sharing or not

    • LX7 Jun 18th, 2017 at 6:11 pm

What you want was used in the past on irc (so yes, it allows file sharing) and it was quite inefficient. That’s the reason bittorrent was invented. One shares bits, each bit gets shared further by the others and so on. Efficient, but easy to track. That’s why file lockers are so popular, put up a file and don’t have to reupload it for a time, everyone can get it.

  38. Paul Jun 17th, 2017 at 7:26 am

Zippyshare, Mega, Free, Uploadrocket are very good for users who download. For uploaders I don’t know.

  39. sugarsnaps Jun 18th, 2017 at 2:39 am

    clicknupload – very good site
    1fichier
    uploadrocket
    zippyshare
    filecloud
    filefactory

  40. bodhi Jun 18th, 2017 at 3:54 am

I don’t understand all the drama, openload, uptobox, 1fichier all download for free at 1,000-1,5000 KB/s on average. uptobox seems to have happy hour 12 hours out of every day (free sample of premium speeds, with no wait time between downloads). Usually the wait time is low or non existent. filesupload and solidfiles also sporadically download at high rates as well, with low wait times between downloads. So why do people care about premium so much, do you really need that movie 1 hour earlier?

    • marp Jun 18th, 2017 at 5:47 am

Premium = economic/existential basis of all the file-share providers as they can only earn very little via ads.
It’s perfectly fine if you are fine with using only free services – but if everyone would do so there would be little to no such providers.

      • bodhi Jun 21st, 2017 at 2:12 am

If it’s a matter of finances for the site staff, why not set up a donation page. This way the money goes directly to the site, avoids the middle men, and they can choose the best host based on quality/ease-of-use for free downloads. I would gladly kick in $$ now and then.

    • LX7 Jun 18th, 2017 at 6:13 pm

The drama is for monetization. None of the hosters you listed give the uploaders anything back for 10.000 downloads. UL and others do. That’s the stake of the game.

  41. ilBe Jun 18th, 2017 at 1:23 pm

    MEGA
    uploadrocket

  42. \0x00 Jun 19th, 2017 at 9:04 pm

look at my hacker username well from what i’ve seen their are other people on different sites that use link protectors with a captcha maybe you should try that since it works well and also reupload anything if it turns out to work good

  43. Ra7er Jun 20th, 2017 at 12:33 am

    Keep up the good work!

  44. Fred Jun 20th, 2017 at 8:10 am

    Solidfiles, Zippyshare..

DDLValley still my favorite site, is there (or any plans to) make a .onion version?

  45. Futterbingers Jun 20th, 2017 at 1:59 pm

    1fichier
    share-online
    uptobox
    filefactory

  46. James Darrell Jun 21st, 2017 at 5:19 pm

    filefactory

  47. Adam H Jun 21st, 2017 at 8:31 pm

I’ve found UL to be incredibly reliable, fast and trustworthy over the years. I’d say stick with them. Hopefully the heat will desist and things will return to normal soon, hopefully.

  48. Mongo bongo Jun 23rd, 2017 at 3:45 pm

    stay with RG pls

  49. Tommy Jun 27th, 2017 at 8:41 pm

I have also found UL to be the best downloader and fast. Please keep it. Two options are:

    01. Add the movies to rar files so UL will not know the format been stored.
    02. Add all UL links to the multiup.eu site and link to it.
    03. Use UL folders and link to it on your site.

  50. mohn Jun 28th, 2017 at 3:16 am

Use https://uploadgig.com, every other sites been using it along with UL, NF, RG.

  51. Jammer Jun 28th, 2017 at 10:04 am

Why are the comments disabled for the Rocketize.me post?

People should be allowed to comment to let others know if the service is good or bad.

    • bob Jun 29th, 2017 at 7:32 am

it’s a paid ad. ddlvalley doesn’t care if it’s a good product or not, only that they profit from it. last product they were advertising was zevera (same type of service) and there are alternatives substantially better than both(even seen staff recommend other products).

      • JRF Jul 7th, 2017 at 2:32 pm

        Like what?
Wich one allow to use in server or RDP!?
        Havent found any!

  52. JJ Jun 30th, 2017 at 12:57 am

I find UL to be the most reliable and fastest host of all the ones I have used over the years.
Really hope you guys stick with them.

  53. DaveS Jun 30th, 2017 at 5:01 pm

I vote for filefactory – just keep the files inventively named and in rar and they will stay up longer, otherwise clear named video files don’t last long.

    I also enjoy downloading from:
    clicknupload
    1fichier
    uploadrocket
    mediafire

  54. pony tail wearing mofucker Jul 2nd, 2017 at 11:24 am

ive seen 1fichier links last longer than uploaded even after the copyright issue brings down uploaded, many months later 1fichier is still up.

  55. JamesFranco Jul 4th, 2017 at 3:32 am

i love DDLV been around for 2 years now i trust ur decision

in term of adding hosts i might say 2giga.link is the 2nd fastest free host after openload and it does not compress the already compressed file

in terms of resumable it is pretty damn good u can resume download after almost 48hrs unless file got removed before that due to a report

  56. revae3 Jul 8th, 2017 at 5:15 am

It’s a shame about UL, but maybe you can consider these as alternatives:
    1Fichier
    UploadRocket
    Uptobox

  57. Pat Jul 8th, 2017 at 4:57 pm

    uploadgig.com

  58. Pat Jul 8th, 2017 at 4:59 pm

uploadgig.com is the new alternative on most site I use. Just as fast as UL.
